Terms of Service

1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of MangaFlow (“Service”), operated by the MangaFlow team (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the digital-consent age in your country) to use MangaFlow. Some features require you to be 18+ where local law requires it.
3. Your account
We use Clerk to manage authentication. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us at our contact form if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. The Service
MangaFlow lets you submit a written story (“Input”) and generates manga-style images and related artefacts (“Output”) using third-party AI models, currently including Google Vertex AI. The Service is provided on an “as is” basis. Output quality is not guaranteed and will vary by Input, model availability, and content-policy filters.
5. Credits
Generation costs are deducted in credits. New beta users receive a one-time grant of free credits. Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and expire if your account is deleted. Paid credit purchases are not yet offered; when introduced, terms specific to purchases will be added here.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of your Input. By submitting Input you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process it for the purpose of operating the Service (including sending it to AI providers).
Subject to compliance with these Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy, you own the Output you generate and may use it for personal or commercial purposes. You are responsible for verifying that your use does not infringe third-party rights (e.g. trademarks, likenesses, or copyrighted characters in your Input).
7. AI-generated content disclosure
Output is produced by machine-learning models. It may contain inaccuracies, unexpected content, or visual artefacts. Some jurisdictions require AI-generated content to be disclosed when published; you are responsible for any such disclosure.
8. Acceptable use
Your use of MangaFlow is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate it, with or without notice, and may remove Output that violates the policy at our discretion.
9. Third-party services
Output is generated using third-party AI providers (currently Google Vertex AI). Image hosting is handled by Cloudinary. Email is sent via Resend. Authentication uses Clerk. Their respective terms and privacy policies apply to data we send them. See our Privacy Policy for details.
10. Intellectual property
The MangaFlow name, logo, source code, and visual design are owned by us. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the Service to you.
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time by emailing support@mangaflow.studio from your registered address — or by using the contact form. Closure is permanent; we will erase your projects, images, and account record within a reasonable period. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that Output will meet your expectations.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) USD 50.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice in the Service. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
